Slow yea.. so..lets crank it back up.

AXE 400

I dont know if im the right guy to chat about this machine but.. I must say it has taken my flying further then any small heli I have flown to date. (im not much of a heli pilot) Im an RC boat racer and not to feel like im pulling the wool over anybody’s eyes I do work for Hobbico..

To this point the ONLY mod I have done is updated the gyro to a Futaba 240..

I can now flip all directions
Roll both directions (and quite axial at that)
small loops and L A R G E loops..

Its quite fast and a tad pitch (forward momentum sensitive) but not to bad.

Im really not much into 3D and its not what i aspire to do but it is working my brain over well enough to help me with my flying orientation.

O yea,, the first time I tried a stall turn I ground the machine in from about 60’.. for sure its easy to work on.. I like that.. the tail was to fast for me and it 540ed on me before you could say.. O..sh……….

All in all its been a fun machine.

Grimracer..

Tower hobby has the receiver ready axe 400 for $199, and with that an additional $20 off. it's tempting.

good to hear from you Grim.
you can turn the tail speed down in he radio and that will help your piro speed.
since you work for hobbico can you inquire about binding a 9303 with the helimax cp novus please.

i had an axe a long while back and set up a few didnt really care for them myself

I hope you don’t take this wrong and Im sorry but im the wrong dude to ask about heli help.. trust me on this..

Im just here to hang out and chat about my experience with my 400 in hopes others will find peace with the machine as well.

I have the tail speed way down for now.. (just about ready to add some heat to it).

Thanks

ROCK ON!
