I can't really argue the engineering one way or the other but for me it seems as a solid/rigid bridge is the way to go. I pulled the zip tie so tight that there is no give between the two booms now. I don't know if this will affect the gyro/tail response.

THAT'S IT! Also, need to "git 'round to" putting the that bell crank on the tail and running the CF rod. Almost the same setup that the Vision has as an option.

Excellent idea. Simple is always better -- it minimizes the effects of Murphy's Law, especially in RC.

I've been using a short link w/ends (like Tosh's), but with two short 2mm screw/nylok sets and a pair of eyeletted plastic wire bundlers the size of the struts. Works great, but it's obviously much heavier than required cuz of the screws/nuts. I'll be swapping all mine out.

Only one flight on her since the upgrade. Didn't seem too much better but there is less flex on the bench than my custom fuel tube/cable tie one I had before.

The tail might be slightly better than before, hard to tell with just one flight. I had to reduce the gain a few points though with the longer boom supports and new bridge which is strange.

yug what kind of heli is that?

As far as the guy who started the thread...run TREX boom supports with TREX Boom mount and supports on your vision. All metal and threaded screws where you can use loctite on the screws.
