I don't have mine in yet so I can't give you numbers, but the distances in the manual are usually off anyway.

Just get the servo to swash links adjusted to get the swash level at a height that makes the washout arms level. I would assume the swash 10mm above the frame would get you in the ballpark since that was the height for the previous models.

Then adjust the swash to upper mixing arm links to get zero pitch at mid stick.

Glad to hear you like it. I thought the Pro hardware was a little loose on my align hex drivers, but I haven't had any of them strip. If the Sport hardware fits better, that's good news.

Is the head slop free like my Pro head was? I would assume it is since it's pretty much the same other than the grips/headblock.

The sport does look like an extremely easy build. Where are you putting the ESC? It looked like people have been installing them under the bottom plate, and I wouldn't really want to put mine there.

I mounted the esc on the left side of the frame, gyro under the reciver tray and reciver on the top of the rx tray dont know how this will work out but we will see still waiting on cyclic servos

This is by far the best align heli i have built as far as quailty goes. Everyhting is super silky smooth there is no slop at all its just so easy to put togther too. Only complaint i have is the canopy is a very tight fit and i wish the bottom tray extended out further like the v2 so i could mount the ecs there instead

hopefully servos will arrive tommorow so i can setup the head and fly!!!!

Mabey one day i will actually land one of these things !!

Ok, here's the numbers:

Short servo to swash link:
19mm rod - 10mm between link ends, 32mm center to center of hole

long servo to swash link:
32mm rod - 21.5mm between links ends, 43.5mm center to center

elevator servo to swash link:
28mm rod - 17mm between link ends, 39mm center to center

Link from swash to see saw arm:
28mm rod - 19.5mm between link ends, 41.5mm center to center

The shortest one is 10mm
Elevator is 17mm
The other is 21.5mm

These are measurements of the amount of link that's still exposed.

trex 450 sport build
I put my reciever under the gyro tray, esc underneath. Ended up with a little aft cg.

I followed the manuals guide for the linkages, but my washout base was hitting the Main rotor housing. I reduced the lengths of the swash linkages....was this the right move?

im not sure excatly but most of it is different mabey the main shaft and gear the tail boom is the same size but for the most part i think they are not interchangeable i have seen people use the tt upgrade on the v2 so that works i havent owned both at the same time so i could say for sure

Mabey one day i will actually land one of these things !!
