Well the Land of 10,000 Lakes is Minnesota!
I figure there's at least 1 mosquito in each, so there you go!

But seriously, just north of Minneapolis-St Paul, Minnesota.

Everytime I fly mine I think about the rush that others are missing. This is an immaculate Apache and should go for major league money. I am working on a two piece fuselage mod for one of mine that will relieve the transport and logistics challenge. Again this is a beauty and someone is going to get a very nice scale model. Wish we could get Vic or IndyHeli to turn out a few more sets of the scale main rotor blades with the correct tips set up for CCW. Good luck with the sale PJRono.

Thanks Boyd! The heli actually belongs to a friend of mine who travels alot. You are right it is a GEM! As far as I know I am the only one to have flown this heli with exception of it's creator. Flying this bird is just awesome as it is so realistic!

Aloha,
Can you please tell me what is needed to complete this as a full scale heli? What price are you looking to get for this heli?
If shipping arrangements are made at fedex (including crating and insurance) would shipping this item be an option?
Thank you in advance for your time.
MAHALO,
JASON

This is a complete scale heli.
Looking to get $8K for it.
Seller does not want to ship as it might get damaged.
Seller might be willing to meet half way (depending).

WOW, That promo vid will not help sell them as the thing looks like it flies like a tank. It is all over the place.

In spite of the Promo video, these big boys have been consistent trophy winners at Nat's, Toledo and IRCHA.

BTW tanks are not typically "all over the place", your simile fails.

that video (2005, 4 years ago) is before we started using heli command units in our birds... if you saw us at ircha this last weekend(and there will be rr videos coming) you saw they fly like a raptor 30 with the helicommand units...

that being said, multibladed scale machines are not for the inexperienced pilot.. you cant expect them to fly on a rail like a 3d bird... they each have their own characteristics...

everytime they fly theres always a crowd that gathers... they look total bad ass in flight especially when coming in nose in to a hover with the tail hanging....

Its funny you mentioned that cus I did a little more digging and found a vid of it in flight more recent and it looked MUCH more gracefull. If that was my company that vid would be uploaded right away. It was from one of the shows I think.
Maybe a little more marketing also.

I witnessed both of these helis at IRCHA last weekend..or at least the same models of it, and it was plain AWESOME!!!! as far as Im concerned it blew everything else out of the water. Half my pics and vids are of that machine in the air, if I had not known it was a model, I would have thought we were being invaded.. *LOL* all I can say is WOW!!

tony, as i said, mark will be posting videos next week as he mentioned in the ircha thread.. we hope to add that one, and a few others from people to the site..but if you want to see some now we do have videos on the site showing how easy they fly, just find the wayne mason pages and you will find several of his videos with a heli command... it really makes flying a multi bladed head fun...
