After flying the 700N all this time (and a brief stint with the Synergy N9), I have come to the belief that the 3mm flybars are flimsy and weak.

After Mandy crashed this weekend, I was pulling new parts out to replace her bent/broken parts, and the 3mm flybar barely looked any different than the tail pushrod - just shorter...

Anyway...

Does anyone make an upgrade so you can run a 4mm flybar on the 600N???

Saturday morning I flew my helicopter in my pajamas
How it got in my pajamas I'll never know

I read a post on here about drilling the cage and replacing the 3mm bearings with 4mm and using a 4mm flybar. BUT I would imagine that if a 50 NEEDED a 4mm flybar one of the manufacturers would build the heli with it. (IMHO).

I have just installed a 4 mm flybar on my Heli, and it is really a good upgrade.

pls tell us why that is. all you are doing is adding weight if your fly bar and makeing it slower on the cyclics it will be more stable but only becuase of the extra weight why not just add fly bar weights?

I know I used lock tight why did my head explode

It is a Century Raven 50 that I have installed a 4 mm flybar.
By forward and backward kip is more authoritative.
The 4 mme flybra is also longer than the 3 mm.
