Installing the above in my Pantera.

I understand (from prev thread) that to increase pitch the swashplate should move down.

When I setup my 6I (with Hitech Servos) - I can get the swash to move down with negative swash mix (-60, -60, -60) -but then the cyclic is reverse. If I reverse the three cyclic servos then the swash is backwards.

Any ideas?

thanks

You should only have to use negative swash value for the pitch setting. Leave the other 2 alone.

thanks - that really helped

so now Im running

AILE +60
ELEV +60
PITCH -38

theres a little swashpitch up/down at extreme ends of up and dn cyclic - is this normal - or is it just a matter of fine tuning the numbers?

Do you own a swash leveler? If not, get one. No, not normal. What you do is lay the leveler on top of the swash without the head on...you then go high stick, then low stick. You use End Point Adjustment to fine tune and get rid of the swash interaction. The leveler makes it real obvious where there is interaction. Otherwise youre gonna notice the heli moving in funky directions when you move the pitch around.
