Started rebuilding my Raptor 90 last fall and just got around to finishing last week. So I've been flying 30's and 50's now for so long I forgot how really great a 90 is!!! I didn't make it 60 seconds in to the first flight before I had perma-grin.

OK, well I'm off to buy a backup 90 now, I think my other heli's will be collecting dust for a while.

I have to agree. But for me, I take my 50 every time as well. It's nice to be able to fly alot on a little. 90's fly a little on alot. But they sure are great machines.

my 90 is a blast to fly, its is definitely a nicer machine to handle and throw around. but the 50 still comes out for its regular beating

The ONLY thing I don't like about 90's are the Fuel Consumption!! You must get about eight tanks from one gallon.

i had the opportunity today to fly two flybarless trex 700s today back to back...one a 12s electric conversion and the other a nitro.

while both are really nice, i prefer my own vbar 12s 600 with the same motor as the 700E. i'm still searching for a better hotrod. but, right now my 600 is the strongest heli i've flown. the only drawback is 4:30 flights...but, i have enough to fly continuous...so, it's just the landing and wiring up new packs that forces a little break.

not slamming .90s...just saying with the proper setup i havent seen one yet that can outperform a souped up .50. and the vbar makes stability of the larger ships irrelevant.

if it ain't broke, break it.

well for nitro there isn't much souping up to do.. maybe for electrics its different but when it comes to nitro there is no substitute for a 90 over a 50.

I want a 90 so bad I can't stand it. Right now I have a 500 size and 3 50's.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!
