Was at the field today flying my R90 3D which only has about 3-4 gallons through it. I took it up for the first flight of the day and got an entire flight put on it. Towards the end of the flight when I was going to land I noticed one of the boom supports looked strange. When I got it close to me I seen that the boom support had sheared right off almost as if it had been cut with a pipe cutter!! I mean it's unreal how clean of a break it is. Like I said above it has about 3-4 gallons through it and it has no vibrations or shakes at all at least none in the tail that I can see. It flies beautiful. What the heck would cause this??? I'll post a picture here in a minute.

High frequency vibes. same thing that happens to the tail booms on Vibe 50's. Make sure your tail hub isnt bent, TT is strait, fan is balanced, tail blades balanced, etc etc

More than likely. Pretty common on Raptors...lol. They seem to always be kinda vibratey (I don't think that's a word, but you understand) Machines. Make sure you balance the fan/ clutch to avoid that as much as possible.

What terrain are you taking off from? Taking off and landing on hard surfaces can cause this.

I fly off of grass. Thanks for your reply's guys. It was the QUK fan. The 3 screws that hold the fan to the fan hub came loose.
