I am currently running a Mavrikk hi volumn muffler. I don't know anyone that has an SB-20 to try it.

Is it worth the $200 for a SB20?

Hopefully there is someone here that has used different pipes.

Just try one and I bet you...your next and the rest of your muffler will be Hatori.

I think its more of the fact that they are lighter than the others... So you are really feeling the weight difference. The downside to the hatori is when/if you crash they resemble that of a coke can when you squeeze it and are not useable.

On the upside they look good and sound really good as well. But whether of not its that worth 200 is up to you. If I were in the market for a new pipe I would not buy another one unless I ran across a good deal.

I think they are worth it to be honest. I can't really explain the feeling of the pipes, but for me and my experiences with them and other pipes, yes, they are steep, but I can't imagine not using one. On our 50's, we used the align pipes and muscle pipes(which, the muscles are good also), but for the pumped OS, I love the Hatori.

The performance is there, they are quiet, and yes, they do look good. So to me, it's well worth the little extra for them.

I have a Hatori on my YS50 atm. I also had a TT pipe and a Muscle pipe and didn't really feel any difference between the three. Just noise difference.

I was mainly curious to see if there was a huge difference on the 90s.

There are four 90s in our group with two Mavrikk pipes, one Align pipe and one Hatori pipe. They all seem to fly the same when it comes to power. That's my take on it.

Last thing I want to do is ditch the pipe I have and buy a $200 pipe to get the same performance.

Unless it is a huge power difference I won't bother.

I have read discussions about the Hatori with a Kasama header making gobs of power. I guess my idea of "gobs" is different from others.

Are these statements made after trying different pipes on the same day?

Is there a write up on different pipes and the gains or losses attributed by them?

I can't be the only one that has these questions.

I cant spek for the OS91, but I am currently running 3 different pipes on 3 different YSSRs.

MP5 - Little down on power, Nice tone
hatori SB19 -Most power, great tone Quiet
Outrage - comparable power to hatori, quiter than MP5. Plus 50% crash replacment

On the next N9, I will be getting another Outrage. For the price its going to be hard to beat.
