Yea me. Never had good luck with 6amp escs on the tail. I've blown at least one myself. Some guys get away with them but not me. Now it's 9amp escs only for me.

Wow
Thanks for the tip Doug. I figured the 6 would work fine cuz we're only pulling maybe 4-5 amps on the tail. Guess I was wrong!

There goes another $50!!

Thanks for the tip Doug.
Mitch, thats BoB, I'm over here But seriously it looks the 9 amp is the ticket--- 3 extra amps--just in case and not much heavier.
There goes another $50!!
Yep, thats what one of my flying buds say every time he crashes !! 50 bucks 50 bucks 50 bucks 50 bucks

Yuk yuk
Sorry about that, Guys!

Hey, I haven't missed Bladezilla much: I was out flying the stock V2 today and I just can't get over how well it works. I have some nice 255mm carbons and the Rhino 20c 1050 batts that came in the mail yesterday (these batts ROCK IMHO) but other than that it's bone-stock.

1050 20Cs or 30Cs? My 1050s are 30Cs Mitch. I thought those were the batteries you ordered.

Bob, I got the 20c 1050s. But they are throwing down some serious voltage. MUCH better than my ThunderPowers ever did. Once I lightened the rediculous battery leads they weight the exact same as the TP 1320s too (87 grams). So far I LOVE them.

They kicked the headspeed waaaaay up on my V2 - just what it needed to become perfect! (OK, nearly perfect)

I wonder what the weight difference is between the 20Cs and 30Cs. I'll go weigh a 30C now (mine still have the heavy gauge lead wires). Ok mine weigh 98.2g each. What do you think those long heavy gauge leads weigh? I really like the 30Cs.

Bob, the 20's weighed 98 grams also with the insane leads.

I have begun to wonder about HK's claimed discharge/capacity ratings. They almost always seem too LOW in my experience. It could even be possible they are the same batts. . . . .

Bottom line: for $12 dollars they are an insane bargain!!

Now the downside: it took almost three weeks for this last order to arrive!!

I bet there is a difference between them. If you would like I'll send you one to test (I have at least 10 now).

Generous
That is a very generous offer, Bob, especially considering HK is out of stock of BOTH the 30's and the 20's. I'll PM you to discuss.

BTW - My Razor came in the mail today but they must've made a mistake and sent me a micro motor!! That thing is so little I can't believe it's the powerhouse Diesel says. And darn it - I can't try it until my T-bird 9 comes in from Tower.

You and I and everyone else have seen the videos that diesel and buildem made using that motor. Yea it looks small but seeing is believing. I think part of their success is that overall their blades end up weighing in at a very low number. I wonder what it is?

Yep, I think you are correct, Bob. I should've been more methodical about charting my weights as I went along.

Still, I can't wait to see how the Razor works on "ChubZilla"

(I would hate to give up any of my bling)

"ChubZilla"
LOL !!A Very lightweight heli is a Great part of diesels performance IMO. His bats are 600mah with a pretty high C rating, I have all 1300 mAH bats which I can use on the King 2 and the Blade, but enough about me, How is everyone feeling tonite

Fine thanks, Doug. But it's 5:30 here on the west coast and I'm still working. Mitch you are going to have to give it up, on one of your Blades at least. You can't have it both ways; you want quick and responsive it's gonna HAVE TO BE LIGHT, period. We're just have to get used to that idea whether we like it or not.

Life is a compromise
Both of you fine gentlemen are absolutely correct. Everything in life is a compromise. If you look at my original Bladezilla post you'll see why I've done every single thing I've done to this little machine.

Here's the thing: I simply cannot throw down the kind of flying Deisel and his brother are showing us. For my current flying style, Bladezilla FAR exceeds my ability to expose it's weaknesses.

Know what I mean?

Gotta run - have to go practice. . . .
