I am seriously thinking about buying the heliopter as soon as it becomes avaiable in the US. I am interested in the flybarless cyber head and wondering if it requires any other special equipment ie..gyro? I have never had a flybarless head and have only flown flybar systems...Synergy, Thunder Tiger, and Align. Any inputs with the differences between the two would be great, good and bad. Thanks for your time and inputs.

I don't own one but since this is a kit, you will obviously need all electronics. Since it will by FBL, you will also need a stabization system like a Vbar, skookum, gyrbot, ac3, etc

in addition to the normal electronics, u will need an electronic stabiliser aka electronic flybar. or 3 axis stabiliser to forgo the tail gyro.

good about fbl.. less parts, less drag, superb forward flight, hi wind tolerant, make tick tocks effortless. i got them on my 600 and 700.

the catch (because there's nothing bad about fbl) ... must be setup properly, need getting used to the feel esp on autos, strong cyclic servos is crucial. will consume rx batt a bit faster.

my srimok 90 cyber head is 75% completed. ive seen up close my mate's vibe90sg and avant. srimok is meaner. the engine mount alone have 12 orings dampers to absorb the vibe. all gear mesh are adjustable. the linkages are adjustables to exact lengths (opposite thread each ends) and you can program the clutch whether u wan to engage early or later. i dont like the skid.. looks very fragile. unpainted canopy, 600ml tank and u have to DIY drill some holes into the tail boom. but apart from that, it's usd1290 well spent

btw: tchavei.. thanks for the auto tip last time. i found the problem. i was over compensating.

Thanks for the inputs guys. That was what I was looking for. I have been doing alot of reading on the Gyrobot and others. I think the Gyrobot 700 or 900 would be my choice, I like the small footprint of the gyrobot and all the features it offers. Researching other also. Never had a Flybarless head and very interested in them not only for the Srimok but scale applications also. Take care.
