Hey guys I am looking to maybe get a 50 size nitro bird and I lik the Vibe 50 and I also like the frenzy...just one question, I read in another forum that the frenzy was the same as a vibe 50, is this true? are parts interchangeable?

Thanks
Matt

The Frenzy is a very economical way to try a 50 size model. Its as stable and flys as well as any other 50 out there. Just my 2 cents.

Thats gonna require parts!!!

just so you know, the frenzy is NOT A KNOCK OFF

it's an entirely different heli, that's based on the winning concepts of other helis

I have both the Vibe and the Frenzy. They are similar but different. The quality of the vibe is better then the frenzy, like CNC aluminum instead of cast, thicker frames, beefier plastic parts, 90 size clutch bell, stronger boom, carbon supports, ect. But Im not saying the frenzy isnt good quality, for $220 the frenzy is much more economical and offers things the vibe doesnt have like belt tail, optional metal mixing arms and flybar cage, metal elevator arm, metal bottom plate, ect.

Dude, get real.....you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about

In fact, it's NOT a clone, but it IS a direct knockoff of the Vibe 50

agree total clone.
When you can put the 2 side by side and other than the belted tail cant tell the difference at 5 feet.. its a clone.

a clone is something that's alike 100%

i dont think a frenzy is a 100% clone of the vibe

infact, i know it's not 100% clone of the vibe

if it is, try and find parts for it, prove to me it's a clone of the vibe, seriously, do it

I did this personally and they are different. From studding the both that I have here side by side its defiantly not a clone and defiantly not a Vibe. They took Ideas of the vibe, raptor, and T-rex and put them all together.

I have said it from day one if it is not a clone you could not get any closer. Some of you guys need to open you'r eyes and face it, it is a cheap chinese clone with that said it flys very good and for the money it can't be beat.

Things not vibe like:
clutch bell, fan shroud, starter shaft assembly, feathering shaft, head block, blade grips, electronics tray, canopy mounting, landing gear, main gear, tail gear, belt, boom, boom clamp, tail housing, boom supports, believe it not not -frames (servo holes arent even same), metal bottom plate, metal front frame support, just to say a few. I found Not ONE part compatable with the Vibe.
I can see calling the CopterX 500 a cheap knock off clone of the T-rex 500, those are exactly same.

Not one part on the Frenzy is compatable with the vibe.

EDIT:
you put the 2 next to each other and sit there and bold face lie and tell me its not a carbon copy.
Set any of the things I stated above next to each other and see for yourself

sorry twicth but your the only idiot here trying to justify the JS clone.

It was made to look exactly like the vibe.. I DO own both.. I won the Mayday Suphur Fun Fly raffle and I owned both.
I sold it this weekend but there are alot of witnesses around here that know I had it.

you put the 2 next to each other and sit there and bold face lie and tell me its not a carbon copy.

please..

clone has nothing to do with direct fit parts.
the JS cloned the look as well as the head nearly 1 for 1..
even trying to make it look like it has a set of HyperGrips on it.

Like has been said over and over in this thread we like it.. but it IS a clone..

you can sit there and debate it all day long but everyone that's laid eyes on it has said wait.. that's a Vibe..

I don't need to own both any idiot can see that the main focus of this heli was to look like the vibe, maybe not any idiot as you can't seem to see that. Like i said IF IT'S NOT A CLONE YOU COULD NOT GET ANY CLOSER so at the least that would make it a cheap knockoff

It doesnt really matter to me either way, I just dont want someone buying one of these thinking they are getting the exact same thing as the Vibe. Im not arguing that its has simular looks of the vibe but its not a clone. Lay the frames together and look for yourself, lay the bottom plates together as well. Actually sit anything I have stated above together and tell me its the same. Just because the canopies look the same doesnt mean whats underneath is the same. You cant call this a Vibe carbon copy clone when it has an almost complete Raptor compatable drivetrain

And why call people names USNAviationjay? Is this really that big of a deal to you

I would say its pretty good quality for the price. Its definitely not a Vibe as I have been saying. Also another thing a lot of people are saying is the parts are so much cheaper then the Vibe. Not true unless you buy the whole frenzy kit for replacments instead of individual parts.
