I have five 6s 3000 mah Outrages. First went 40 cycles, second and third died at 60 cycles and the remaining three are weak. All handled according to normal care. Will not spend the extra money for the name brand again.

Same here, 6 Outrage 6S 3000mah for my T-rex 500, never put back more than 2400 mah (80% rule) 4 have died between 48 and 54 cycles. Two are left, I am now thinking they are almost toast because I bought the new Hyperion VX 35C batteries and the Outrage were never as solid, even when new.

I don't have exact numbers, but I have 4 Outrage packs that I have been using for about 6 months and they are still running extremely strong. (knock on wood)

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

I have three Outrage packs.
Two 2200mAh 6S 25C and one 2500mAh 6S 35C.
I have been a responsible user with the 35C pack but as far as the 25C ones go,well....there have been times that I put back as much as 2240mAh in a 2200mAh pack.I use these two for simple FF with maybe a couple stationary aileron rolls and a flip or two.I just fly away until the heli can barely stay out of the grass on its way back to me.
These two packs have shared hundreds of flights.Maybe over a hundred each.I'm still getting six or seven minutes in idle up.Maybe just short of nine minutes in normal mode just slowly putt putting around the skyline. No noticeable change since late January in flight times.

The 2500mAh 35C is always in idle up and gets the full brunt of my 3D learning curve. It flies for around five or six minutes and I'm putting back around 1950 to 2000mAh.

So far,I have to say I've been extremely lucky with my lipos. They are taking some abuse and just keep going and going

I don't worry about the 80% crap much.As long as they perform,I'm happy and when the day comes that they don't,I'll replace them.Probably with Hyperions.Nothing wrong with Outrage.Just want to try something new.

I literally never use the word literally right.

Had no problems with Outrage...stopped counting my flights on my 6S 5000 packs. Yes, they are more expensive but you get great cust. service in my opinion and the 50% crash replacement is a good deal as well.

When they start dying after a few months, they might need to experience a 'crash' and get replaced for half off, lol.

Maybe it is an issue with the smaller packs, I have 4 sets of the 6s, 4200mah packs that are at least between 50 to 100 flights old and are still going strong.

Only issue with the 50% replacement is that it's 50% off full retail.

Outraged at Lipo batteries!!!!!!
Hey Guys,I have used some of the brand name batteries and to tell you the truth they are all about the same,I now buy 24.00 chineese 3S 2200 25c packs and they actually last longer and work better then the so called best in the business brands.
I bought a new 3S 2170 Thunderpower pack from my LHS, brought it home and 1 cell was dead right from the package, called TP and they told me to send it back with a check for 45.00 and they would send me a new pack, I told them to stuff it as this was a defective pack I should get a new one for free, They would not here of it 45.00 or nothing, so for me TP stands for toilet paper and I will never use brand name batteries again. I did buy some Tenergy packs last year that are great I got 6-3S 2200 30C packs and use them 2 at time for my TREX 500 have over 100 flights on them and they are still going strong, and I beat them to death,I will be buying these packs again in the future. And I am going to try some of the new MRC packs, as they come with a great warantee and they are local.

Just my 2 cents

Outrage Battery 6s 3300Mah
I have used the outrage batteries for some time now (1 year or 2), some puff a little over time, however I have had a 6s 3300mah explode in the air after 2 mins of flight. This batt had maybe 25 flights on my Trex 500. Destroyed the heli.

Has anyone else had this issue?

If the brain was simple to understand, we would all be too simple to understand it.
