KC the mentor,
Andy has been getting a lot better since watching KC flying styles and a few pointers here there from KC. Very smooth and pleasing to the eyes. Keep it up dude.

I been taking constructive criticisms from others and it's been paying off.

Finally got the Multigov working. The SDX flew amazingly smooth. Anyone have any tips for aggressive setups? I'm at default settings right now

Thank you but no need to hope, the skill is within us all

I think the SDX is a great choice out of all the 50's out there. Congrats on your purchase!

Great quality and superb design. I was hesitant on getting a 50 due to their poor power/weight ratio. I feared that it would be too slow and weak for my tastes. I've flown a Vbar Trex600 and I wasn't impressed. It felt heavy to me even with the Vbar. The SDX feels light and responsive with a locked in feel.

I got my back up in the air and its feel so awesome. Its definitely a helicopter for beginners to professional. Doing tic tac seems to be effortless and the forward flights a so crisp and precised plus fast too.

Dale,

I'm starting to lean out the engine. It's still running real cool to the touch. At 2100 HS this bird comes alive. 4 point tic tocs are effortless. Looking forward to flying this weekend.

Cant wait for until Sunday either, Bart will have his SDX ready too. Hopefully Emilio will have his Hirobo done soon. The chopper is making flying 3 times better than I am. Its flies like the new gyro 520 for sure.

Emilio got a Hirobo too? That's awesome. I do have to thank you for turning me into Hirobo. They're a hidden jewel. I may have to get a Hirobo 90 next year.

I've experienced the same thing as far as the SDX bringing me additional confidence. I did a couple new moves in that video and I've never practiced them on the sim It just felt right at the time.

I just sent my check for the Cascade club. We'll have to bring our Hirobos out there. I'll actually stop by your shop on Saturday before I hit the Highlands

Take all the weights out of the paddles. Both the lead and the brass. Still flies true but it does make it quicker. A convenient feature is that you can take out the weights, or put them back in, without taking the paddles off the flybar. Sweet!

Also if you are at +9 0 -9 like the book says that is not near enough for my taste. I have increased mine a lot but I did not stick a pitch guage on it. I just changed it in the transmitter until I liked it.

Wycorcflyer, I did remove the weights and setup the programmable head as per instruction. Mechanically maxed out I have 12.5 collective and 8 degrees cyclic. It's setup perfectly for my taste but I'm trying to utilize the rev limiter on the Multi gov. I want to experiment with it

Emilio, Kimber huh? I have one too I actually went frugal and got the Align servos for cyclic. I was a bit tentative about it but it turned out to be great. We'll see how it does in the long run but so far so good. Centers fine and it's got excellent speed. I'm not using my Align muffler now. Only catch is that I stripped the muffler. You will need longer screws to make it work. If you want it ask Dale for my number.

Hans, It was a pleasure meeting you. I still get goosebumps thinking about flying your bird. I'm honored that you trusted me with your baby I ended up getting a Hatori and got my hands on longer screws. The muffler is going nowhere!

Bryan, thanks for the kind words. My bird would have never gotten up in the air without your help. You made the nitro transition a breeze without incident. I'm still buying you dinner whether you like it or not. As far as the video, you weren't there for the 10th flight. That was flight 5 that you witnessed. It was just Dale and I for the 10th flight. Only 1 flight for that day. That's all that my nerves could handle
