Hi
A couple of years ago i had a 450 xl , i sold this and now wished i hadnt.
What I liked about the 450 was that i could hover it in the park or o a spare bit of land.

I quite lke the look of the 450 pro but i also like the 500esp and since i allready have a gryo and servo the cost differance is only about £100

I just cannot make up my mind up on what to get

Has any one got any input to help me

Regards
Ivan

IMHO the Trex 500 is my favorite helicopter I have ever owned. I would not hesitate a bit. It flies much much bigger than the 450. Perfect balance between power, performance, size, and cost.

I have a 450V2/V3 and expecting delivery of my 500ESP today

I think the 500 is just the perfect size heli - It's still kinda small so you can fly it tight in small areas or unleash it in large areas

I have a hard time seeing my 450 when I fly it big and at altidude but the 500 looks and flies like a big ship when flown big - No trouble seeing it at all

My 450 is already sold/pending and my 500 is going to be the 'one' for me

Bigger is better. Go for the T500 or even the T600. Now that everyone is using those low cost Zippy Flightmax batteries the T600 is a very practical choice.

what kind of flying are you into? if you like slow and stable get the 500. if you are into crazy 3D you should try the 450 pro ,that little heli is so fast and nimble .i have both of them and by far the 450 pro is much faster and fun and the 500 is good too buit for me is too slow ,but hey it just my opinion....

IMO the 500 is way better just a bit bigger flies well, and you can still fly in small areas. I fly mine in the cul-de-sac I live in a few times a week.

sold my 500 to get the 450 pro
nice heli to build only took 2 hrs...................and a further 2 hrs for set up.......................
but it realy is like hot and cold, you would need to fly both to decide your self.......
but i would go for the 450 pro because its cheaper flying
regards helinelly

if it broken.....glue the bast#$d...keep flying..i tell the wife my crashes cost £20! works for me

You're really going to enjoy that heli, good choice getting the ESP as it's such a good value when you look at everything included.

Sold my 450 because I love my 500 too much. Sold my 450 because I was not flying it anymore. Thinking of getting a N5 to replace the 450.

Flown some Trex450pro and it’s a great flying machine great value. But its no trex500 with 6cell setup this machine rocks. I have been flying them since they first came out. Put a scorpion 1400kv with 17tooth pinion and even the gods will be jealous from the power.
That being said I will be selling my Trex250 to buy the 450pro.

The align GP750 gyro is better than the 401. (I've had/have both) Mine is rock solid on my 450 Pro. The only issue I have found is piro consistency while travelling. Other than that, it's super easy to set up and like I said, it's very solid gyro.
