I think guys use friends who have good feedback. Buying from someone who has bad or no feedback could be dangerous. I'm saying this and not helping my case, I have sold 3 or 4 thing here on RR and have no feedback. I wish people would have put feedback because it would all have been good.

i have a cure!!!
i have the perfect way to fix this and am fully intending to pursue it. okay....what i'm going to do is start a "transfer business". this business is intended to keep either party from getting ripped off. this business works like paypal and merchandising all tied together. there will be a certain facility (legitimate fully insured and licensed business) that all merchandise and money is sent to and distributed to intended individual. lets say you buy a heli from joe shmoe for x-amount of dollars. you pay into this business x-amount of dollars plus x-percentage fee (just like paypal to cover overhead such as rent,power,utilities,etc...).the money is banked until the heli from the other party shows up and then both the money and the heli are sent to the rightful owners. if the money or the heli does not show up in the alotted time frame (unless other arrangments are made by both parties and both parties agree) the money or the heli is sent back from where it came. therefore the company is now the neutral middleman and everything is insured until it arrives at the correct location. please give me feedback on this idea!!!!

good point
there would be rules and regulations that cover the consumer. in other words...the company and the consumer have to play by the same rules, after all...it's a business. everyone on here trusts paypal and complete strangers. aren't there certain rules and "laws" on paypal? i use paypal myself. it wouldn't be any different than ordering merchanise online.i believe everyone on here takes that risk. after all...nowadays you can hardly trust the very banks you bank at, the credit card companies, car companies...the list goes on. yet everyone still uses them. the problem is that on this site (like any other) everyone is trying to or thinking if ripping someone off. therefore, a legitimate and legally bound business that's sole purpose is to protect the customer is doomed from the beginning because of the futile actions of the average moron

I think Peter Wales said it right...

So one day the business closes and they have all the money and all the helicopters not transferred yet....

If General Motors (GM) can go bankrupt who's next?
Trump has been bankrupt twice, Maybe Mr. Gates?

i love to see the negative responses. this insures the idea that there is nobody on this site that can be trusted...or maybe even left in the world. is this really how everyone feels??? how does anyone even go to the store and purchase anything anymore?! "the food at the grocery store is tainted...the gas at the gas station is watered down...the bank isn't paying my bills correctly, which i pay online and someone has stolen my identity". is this really what everyone thinks or are these the few that live for drama? i think they diagnose that as paranoid schizophrenia. everyones out to get me.

It is still a shame that this idea has to be thought of.
i still think the percentage of honest people outweigh the dishonest.
there are still good folks out there, just have to find them.

how bout this....
is there any of the "trusted" on here that could help me out with this idea?it seems that there is a status issue on this site and i'm just throwing the idea around for a way to make it a surefire way to make online trade safe for everyone.i'm just as concerned as any of you because i too was ripped off by one of your "trusted" rr members. i traded raptor 90 for a scale apache and sent my heli but still haven't seen or heard anything about my heli.

maybe...
maybe the guy in the sky, mark ryder, would be interested in helping insure the safety of the people that made this web site what it is. would be nice to get a response from him. you see...if it were mark ryder on here saying he was the one that was going to start doing this then it would be a novel idea.therefore proving the fact that everyone on here would trust a total stranger with their money and goods simply because of his status on here.

oh brother
for your info...i've been on rr for about two years...just under a different name and i've already heard your and a few other peoples great words of wisdom in the past. i closed my old account for a good long while on account of people just like you but thanks anyway drama queen. i just figured that i'm better than that to let people like you ruin a great web site like this for me and all the other decent people in this hobby. the ones who are real and mature. besides that...i haven't ask anyone to send me anything thank you!!! it was just a thought to find out what other people thought of the idea to help protect themselves.so...grow up!!!!
