I have a problem with front belt idlers in Xtreme carbon frame. Each idler consists of two parts - rotating one and not rotating washer.

In my case, whatever I do, belt rubs this washer which does not rotate, creating friction and cutting this washer over time.

Does anybody have some fix for this? Or I mounted them wrong. I tried to reverse idlers, putting some spacers, but nothing helps.

Thanks!

When I bought my Extreme frame, it didn't come with idlers. I used the set from my plastic frame which included the second bearing from the Xtreme 43t pulley. Another option is the HBK3 idlers which are much nicer than the v2 ones.

When I bought XTreme frame, it came with installed idlers, but I bought it used . In my case now I have step washer from King2 and a flanged bearing, I believe from XTreme front pulley, though I am not sure. Is what you meant?

Are you sure idlers from King3 will fit inside carbon frame?
I guess that's the one: http://www.helidirect.com/esky-pinc...king-p-8597.hdx

I worry about fitting, because I have nice idlers, but they just a little bit do not fit in a frame and I do not want to cut frame in order not to weaken it.

Thanks!

Xtreme pulley, yes it comes with 2 bearings you stack on top of the old HBK2 bearings. About the v3 idlers, no, I'm not certain they would fit, thoughing that out as an option.

Thanks Greg! Two ball bearing stacked works fine.

As about HBK3 idlers, I have the ones which look suspiciously the same as idlers in pictures. If they are they, they do not fit in carbon frame.
