What would be the best main rotor blades that I could put on a SDX that would be more F3C/FAI style than 3D. I realize that the SDX is a 3D machine.

maybe you can try using glass fiber blades or standard 600mm gf blades from hirobo for f3c

620's sound interesting. I was under the impression I needed to use 600's. Will 620's fit without any modification?

Yes the evo will safely use 620 blades! I would run a maximum of 95mm tail blades though, just to be safe.

I've been running MAH 600mm blades. For 3D, I'm not sure going with the 620s would get you anwhere, in fact, I believe they would slow up your cyclics.

The 600s autorotate superbly so you don't need more blade or weight for that. The 600s keep everything close coupled and agile.

If you are going to increase blade length anywere, I would put 95mm tail blades on in the place of 92mm. The increase in disk area will improve gyro performance.

The new tail blades that come in the SDX are actually pretty good but I still believe that a rounder leading edge of a carbon blade reduces drag at higher tail pitch angles.
