So it will run "ok" with the stock pinion but to really get optimal performance out of it do the pinion swap?

Stick with the stock 15th and run 1850 on the head. I am running the 16th with idle 1 1850 and idle 2 and 1950. I do 90% of my flying at 1850 and it flies fantastic. At 1950 it really starts suckin down fuel..

Bird is here have some questions
It all seems pretty good so far except 1 thing. when I spin the mains and watch the main gear its warped/wavy IMO.

is this normal?

also need the manual from somewhere if anyone knows where I can get it.

other than that very impressed with the bird.

waiting on Engine, HyperCollar, HyperHub and Blades.

BTW I dont see a collar on there now at all is that normal? ( above the frame like other helis)

Collar is under upper bearing mount.

You can download the manual from Synergy RC

ok another question.. I did get a Hatori pipe in the deal.. how do I know what series it is just byn looking at it?
I was just looking at Rons site to buy the gaskets and dampners for it as well as the rest of what it needs and there are alot of different ones there is one that says for short stroke and 1 for Long stroke how can I tell if I got the right one?

I bought a 91 SR for it.

Jay, the hole in the frame just below the top bearing support is where you access the grub screws for the collar.

I know you are getting the Hypercollar, make sure it's tight. I use a screwdriver style driver to get it tight and then finish off with an L wrench. I found it would loosen up after a few flights just using the screwdriver style driver.

Push down on the head slightly as you set and tighten the collar too.

You have the SB19, yer good.

Sort of redundant since we already talked about it.

I'm bored.

The SB-19 is also known as the Todd Bennett Special. It should have 4 little silicone dampers that mount the header to the engine.

adds up quick man..

125 for 710s
54 for Hub
18 for sizer
30 for tube
25 for bearings
10 for hatori hardware kit
18 for the collar

and 25+ dollars in shipping and 10 more for other vendor.

woulda been alot better if I didnt have to order from 2 vendors.
to get everything.

but rons was out of stuff
helidirect doesnt carry anything.. but they had the hatori parts bag noone else did..

and Amain had the rest.

actually the lesser option was 18 bucks.. so might as well get it UPS 2nd day for 30 bucks.

pretty steep shipping from Amain. and then another 10 bucks from another vendor for 2 parts.

You did get the top drawer stuff. N9 is built like a 1 ton pickup and the YS SR will power it like a chipped engine.
