FYI Hirobo fans,

Hirobo Japan just or about to release another Freya line called Freya Evo OP SWM with SSZ-V rotor head assembly. It also comes with the D3 tail rotor assembly.

I found it when I was browsing Hiribo Japan's Japanese website and it's in the very first page. Click the picture and you can download the PDF file information on this new Freya series. This one thing that I love about Hirobo. 1) Keeping a particular model series in production for a long time. 2) Being innovative by putting new stuff i.e. rotor head, main gear, swash plate (HPM oo SWM).

Here's the link: http://model.hirobo.co.jp/index.html

Price wise is about Y189,000 or $1976.65 almost half of the price of the 2008 AAOC Eagle.

I think for those in a budget like myself who have to save up money for the 2008 AAOC Eagle can now have an alternative model to try on. This particular one does have the SSZ-V head which I hear alot from this section about how good and stable they are. i think this will be the best route for me to go in favor of the 2008 AAOC model.

Anyways, for those who are into the percision flight FIA/F3C,, I think this is a model to look at and consider.

The smart thing about the way Hirobo does things is that they take a core mechanic and dress it out to suit exactly what a particular customer base wants. They can do this without incurring the expense of a custom kit since it pretty much just comes down to which kit core "ingredients" get put into a particular box.

If any US customers would like this kit, I'm certain that Greg @ MRC can arrange to order one in for you.

That is the full retail price in Japan. I believe its more inline with the op version with the ssz-IV head give or take $100-200 more since the ssz-V head cost about that much more. If I can remember there was thread where MRC was going to sell the op with ssz-iv for $999.99 , but it was a special order item. Greg can chime in on the asking price more accurately.

I think what you're thinking about is the Freya OP II with the SSZ-IV head otherwise known as Dominik Heagele's 2007 3D Msaters replica. The MSRP on that is $1,199.99. The 2008 AOCC Eagle series with the SSZ-V and all the possible bling CF, CNC aluminum, etc. is about $3,600.00 for just the kit. This new Freya Evo OP SWM with the SSZ-V is half of that price or may be even less if orderd through MRC.

Greg,

I'll notify MRC once I'm ready and I'll contact you for arrangements.

**Edit How much is a SSZ-V head ssembly? Thanks in advance.
