You are good. The 11ms is the efficiency of the signal in the air between the transmitter and the receiver. I am using the 12X and it works fine with it.

Ink, Thank you for correcting me. You are right my bad, but it is 2048. There was an article about this in one of the past RC Heli mag that showed how things work.

This was a topic I was interested in testing when I had my v-bar.

Here's the "question"

DO you benefit any running 2048 resolution over 1024 when running a vbar?

TX to RX 2048
RX to Vbar 2048 <~~ just an example
Vbar to servo's ?

TX to RX 1024
RX to Vbar 1024 <~~ just an example
Vbar to servo's ?

NOW there lies the question and the part to test. If the resolution out of the vbar to the servo's is fixed at 1024 you in theory wouldn't see a difference between running 1024 and 2048 RX's would you?

Does the problem make sense?

Keep in mind this only means your stick input comes in at a 1024 resolution.

You have no idea what the actual output is from the gyro system...

So what you need to keep in mind is what the output to the servos inbetween stick inputs(the stick data is only comming in at 11 - 22 ms---the gyro can update for most popular sytems at 6ms). There can be 2-3 gyro updates between stick data updates.

My guess is the data from the Rx at a lower resolution is truncated to fit a 4096 resolution system...(ie an input from the 1024 tx can be equal to 4 different values in a 4096 bit system). I see no reason to have a dynamic output because of the input...but hey I can only speak for myself
