What do use for your alignment pins and how do you attach them to the fuselage?

They came with the Century fuse. Maybe 1/8 in diameter chrome pins that are a tight fit/epoxyed into wood. They pass through the fiberglass lips of each half of the fuse and into another block of wood on the mating half. Any kind of pin would work as long as it doesn't allow too much lateral movement.
