Dont know if theres anyone liveing here in Perth western Australia who is still flying a caliber 30 and wants one for spares.

Im about to throw it away along with all my other old helis.
From memory its ready to fly, it needs a new starter coupling(its rounded of)

Last time I tried to start it up a few years back the clutch was grabbing and I just couldent be bothered with it any more.

I dont even know if parts are available anymore, I cant be bothered with shipping it around the world all to complicated but just thought ide throw it out there if theres anyone here in Perth.

Theres also a couple of RJX 50 hurricans that basicly need crash repairs, new tails, main shafts. e.t.c but I doubt you can get parts for them anymore either, petty as they were nice helis.
Nitros just not my thing any more.

There all going in the next day or so.

Some one should grab this as the Cal 30 is an awesome heli! And yes the parts are very available. Seems like the parts for the Hurricanes should be available too.
Wish that I was closer than half way around the world.

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!

Yep, its a prob.

The shipping costs is the prob.

Im a student(albiet 38 yrs old), and Im trying to scrape together money for a Lipo pack for my new 500, so I just cant afford to be paying for shipping right now.

Well,
I wouldn't throw them away as you should be able to get enough to cover the shipping and your trouble plus profit!
It costs about $50 usd to ship from Hong Kong to me for that much weight.
If I lived there I would gladly take them and or pay shipping.

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!

I wont toss it out. Ill see what happens, next pay day I guess I wouldent mind forking out 50 bucks to ship it out to someone and they reimburse me somehow, just this week every cent I have will be going on a pack for this 500e Ive just finished building.

With a new starter coupling, and a a bit of messing around to stop the clutch grabbing its relatively unused, even got some 550 CF razor pros.

I think ill just toss the RJX 50`s and keep the OS hypers out of em.
Im trying to clean up my Hobby room, trying to decide what to toss and keep, what a job!!

if you used paypal for payment you should be able to open a dispute about it. Take detailed pictures of the damage, open a dispute on the payment, and contact eBay and explain what happened, give them the pictures and the ebay item number. it may take some time, but ebay really is starting to crack down on sellers who do this sort of crap, and you should be able to get them to reverse the payment, or at least give you a partial refund for it.

What heli have you bought? I have an Os hyper 50, I cant be giveing everything away so Ide like maybe 20 - 50 bucks I guess, I would really like to here what the go is with the heli youve bought first.

The Caliber is still here, is Lynden here in Western Australia

To fly it you will need to find a starter coupling as the one in it is rounded off, the os 37 in it should be fine, its got a 4000mah nimh battery and I have three Hitec 645mg`s ultra torc`s that were in it, youl also need a gyro, tail servo and receiver.

Im feeling greedy today so if you want the NHP 550 carbon fibre blades also it will cost you $50, depending on how I feel on the day I may let em go for $25.

cheepstr...
If this is your first venture into RC helis I would advise you to try and get yourself a new one, if your deadset on nitro get a Trex 600 Nitro there about as cheap as they come.

People will disagree with me on this, but I also would recomend you go electric, if 600 is too expensive go 500 size, starting out in rc helis is a steap learning curve even without the added complications that come hand in hand with running a nitro bird.

If you live here in WA, my freind is selling one of his 600e`s ready to bind and fly, due to the fact everything on it is the best money can buy I think he wants $1000, not the cheapest option but its a nice blinged out 600. Either way if you need any help theres a bunch of us that have been flying here in Perth for years, we can get together.

There selling Trex 500`s at wattsup.com for $470 ,3 HS82`s on cyclic $100, $300 gyro and tail servo and a Zippy/Turnigy 30c 6s 2650 $100 will get you a nice enough heli, with TX just a tad over $1000.
Its a lot of money but any less your probly asking for trouble.

EDIT. oh yeah I just remembered Toby over at Takeoffandland in Herdsman has Trex600gf kits for $550, and a 600eGF combo with 1 6s 5000 pack included for $750. (takeoffandland.com)

smashed up heli
Thanks for your reply to my problem with my heli.
The heli that I got for $75.00 us is a caliber 30.
I'm sorry if I made it sound like this is my first heli.
what I ment was my first nitro heli. I have a t-rex nock off 450 size
The caliber 30 that I have needs more parts than it's worth for me to repair with the cracked motor and all.
I wish I could meet you guys over there beacuse their is no heli shops or people that I know about that I can talk to about this great hobby.
If you will sell your extra parts to me I would be very greatfull
I dont have a lot of money at this time but if you can give me some time I will get the money.
I forgot to say that the best part of the hobby that I like is that you can build it up from a bunch of parts on the floor and make it fly. The feeling is great to know that you did it right.

you can E-mail me at jodyhernandez@msn.com

The problem is, I was PM`d by a guy who thinks the shipping would be about $120 which sounds about right as it costs me $20 to ship a 6s 5000 pack from hong kong (Im assuming US dollars) so thats about $200 aus, Im also broke as Im currently a student.

$200 is a lot of money! specialy for an old caliber that needs a new starter coupling that will probly end up costing $30 - $50 just at a guess.

I know this is the Kyosho forum and they are great helis, but if youve had troubles trying to get a heli in the air, try and save up for a cheap Align kit, my first year or so in this hobby was a complete nightmare banging my head against the wall with JR, Hirobo and Kyosho helis until I got my Trex, there as close to idiot proof as you can get IMO. My 600 is over 2 years old and ive never had a single prob.

Seems you must have most of the electrics already, Do you have 3 servos, gyro and tail servo, TX and receiver if so what have you got?
I have an Os 50 hyper I could help you out with. Trex 600 nitros are ony about $400 aus so Im guessing thats only about $300 in US dollars, maybe even less.

Also whats wrong with the caliber you have other than the cracked motor? I have an OS 32 and OS 37, but once again its shipping.

Yep Il have a look today and get back to you, Il try and post pics of everything, try and see how much it will cost to post it all to you, How do they work it on weight or size? If its weight I may as well send the whole damn heli in the box.

Ive always struggled with getting photos up on this thing, Il have a shower and breakfast and then try and post up the pictures, Il weigh it all on the scales and try and figure out postage costs, Im sure we can work out something. Im a 38 yr old student student so paying $200 postage is out of the question. Il look into it this morning.
\
EDit. Unbeleiveable! the first time in god knows how long I need to use the camera someones taken it out of the house, probly my damn neice staying here at the moment

Soon as I can find a camera Il post some pics, probly be later on today when she`s home from school, just wish people would leave my Sh*t alone, or at least have the decency to ask me first before just takeing!!!

When ever she`s here everything dissapears! mobile phone`s, charge leads you name it, a couple of months ago she claimed SMS` messages only cost 1 cent, which was a complete lot of horse sh*t as we ended up with over $300 dollars on our bill.
