Once Boobie gets another one I would like to fly it first and see how it feels.

This one is smaller that the Boobie one.
Bigger one is better with typically (but not always) better wing loading. The blue and white one tracked good with nice comforting stability which comes from the wing dihedral.

Typically, Extras and the like do not have dihedral to keep the stability equal both on upright and inverted.

Bob Luca has the smaller one. You can ask him for a test flight.

If you want speed, there are better airframes.

3D prop will give you instant thrust at low speed, with speed setup, if if stalls at low altitude, it would be much harder to recover.

With the same motor setup, you can prop it for 3d by going lower in cell count with bigger prop and reduced pitch. For speed, you can increase the cell count with smaller diameter with same pitch or increased pitch.

For speed, you do not want airframe with built up control surfaces with large surface area. They will flutter in flight in a most spectacular way.

It certain is a spectacle. You hear boooo~~ and all hell breaks loose.

How did that plane in that video not flutter? or did it? The eratix is another fast plane that can also do 3d. You can have both right, one plane for multiple flying styles. Is that allowed?

You will not miss it if it did that. Strong servos, tight linkage with no slop etc. While the control surfs are bigger than speed planes, they are not as big as typical 3d airplanes. Some 3d planes warn you not to speed in the manual.

With in reason, you can swap the prop, but to go further, cell change is needed. So, as long as your ESC can handle it, you can have it both ways. But, you can't have best performance in both. You can do little of both though.

Flat 3d foamies go nuts if you speed it up.

My DA50 powered Mustang, with tiny ailerons would come down with stripped gear on one every few flights until I changed them to metal.

For easy calculation, 100W/lb requirement for sport flying. At full throttle, you want something that will give you about 4-5min for typical flight time of 7-10min of flying.

So the 50 size will need abotu 700W, while 90 size will need about 1000W.

So, your 6s 3000-5000 will give you perfect juice for the 50 sized revolver.

ESC will be for 6-8s at 60a
