David,

From what I can find, your engine creates max Hp (1.9Hp) @ 16,000 RPM and your gear ratio is 8.2:1.

16,000/8.2 = 1950

If the numbers I found are correct, you will get the max Hp out of your motor if your head speed is 1950 RPM

Hey Scott do they also tell you at what rpm peak torque is developed. With an ic power plant your ideal would be to not have the engine fall below the peak torque rpm during high power demand moves.

I hear what you're saying Ed. But everything I have seen so far regarding IC engines and HS have used max Hp and not torque. Don't know.

Looked over heli this afternoon. I cannot believe the amount of damage from that crash. There is more damage here than any other crash I had. Both side frames, TT drive gear (always), bottom plate, landing gear, and one blade, and flybar. The tail boom is dented, but functional - I'll replace anyway. And the gears in the elevator servo. I bought a pair of frames off E-bay, and I had everything else here except the gears, which i will order Monday.

peak torque is generally 85% of max developed HP plus or minus. it will usually be within 500 rpm of that.

additionally OS and Nova like to "fall in to" the torque curve, where as YS likes to "rise up to" the torque curve.

If you set your targeted HS using this information, providing your motor is in tune and your head is in tune, you will find that you will be at or within 100 rpm of the proper HS

good luck

You could always max out your pitch settings and run at highest RPM possible and do zero break-in....just saying.

Scott you know I still have a complete 600 Tail here that is belt not TT. O if anyone here owns a Raptor 50 I have some spare upgrade UK parts like the flybar cage and meta washout. I might have a spare head since I'm going FBL on it. This is where I'm at till the rest of the stuff comes in. Raptor

Trex 650E

Estimated using a 2600mAh/12S battery combination so that the battery be flat shape, so reducing the number of body height (but the original seems to appear too obtrusive stand the point).

The receiver has done a seat change the battery inside the fuselage was extended to the entire track of the receiver under the seat, can fully satisfy the needs of the focus of the deployment.

Steering gear has been greatly configuration changes into the steering gear tilt drive straight pull, it seems from the figure should be made of aluminum alloy metal rudder arm.

The biggest highlight of this picture, than the enigmatic gyro 3G, this like a castrated version of 3G (the sensor is not it!) Gyroscope, I think it is 3G V2, from the configuration seems to plug a total of 9 , bold look and estimating functions:

There may be 3 +1 rudder servo swashplate machine, and then were down, aileron, pitch, rudder sensitivity of 4 lines back to the receiver. This accounted for a total of 8 channels plugs, last feature is it? We assume that he is a backup channel it.

See the next two small plugs, said it could take Spektrum satellite antenna, so that the receiver can be saved back to the 4 line, that is connected to the throttle servo, and even then with cruise control it!

Czochralski steering is very good practice, and installation of steering gear seems to have innovation, seems to be the installation of a dedicated framework?

There is also saw the size of huge helical, with M1 module, under the sub-gear is to maintain the original M0. (This is more proof that this is a new generation of 600E)

Tail gear box shape is more rounded, very beautiful, carbon fiber tail rod into a rod.

Way to change the battery fixed orbit orbit similar to C-type approach, while the overall track seems to start from the bottom of the spindle, has been extended to the forefront of the receiver blocks.

Axis of the basic structure of the same mass, but most end of the column into the aluminum block of aluminum, the shape modification is indeed very good.

The emergence of the new 600E has a substantial change in the motor home, battery track, steering straight pull, especially in steering CZ, save a lot of structure, I believe the weight to be better than older, more mildly 600e.

@ Nycatt - that looks remarkably similar to Alan Szabo's 'test" 600E that bob posted last week.

@ nycatt

Are we getting tired of waiting for the Logo Extreme?

By the time the Logo makes it to the store shelves the 650 to 700 market is going to be flooded with choices.

Curtis is coming out with a dedicated E version of the ENV.

MA has the wiplash in the works.

Now Align has a 650 coming out for those scared of a 700.
