Paul, can the Hirobo header tank be supported in more than one point on the Freya lower frames (do the bottom two support points align with other frame bolts)or just one as shown on your pic?

Unfortunately no. I do prefer the mounting arrangement on the D3v2 although the D3 needs to be propped tail low to purge all air from the header during fuelling.

Exactly my point...... so if you're enamored with the Hirobo version and can't find it, it's not the end of the world.... many others to choose from out there and they are not "model specific".....

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

Juan,

If you examine your responses as well as others', you will hopefully see that you are missing everyone's point including yours; yours being that you don't care what header tank you use, unlike for discerning pilots that do. Perhaps you can agree that the two positions are not the same. We get your position, but you don't need to drive it into the ground, let others have their preferences and opinions. BTW, I don't believe anyone in recent posts said that they had fallen in love with any specific HT or did they? Live and let live, build and let build and fly and let fly... Chill out bud.
