Hi
Yes , i bit off more than i could chew , that head , due to its small size was just beyond my skill set as a machinist , there was only about two mm of material to slice and rejoin , and it was just too much for my little fingers to deal with

Copperclad, Can you shed some light on the 45 degree mod? What does it do to the heli?

Hi BOB
if you have heard of , or flown a Hirobo Quark , you will have the general idea

it is hard to quantify , the machine becomes smoother around hover , but still seems to have all the flight characteristics of a standard heli , i find on the Quark and other machines i have converted , that they seem easier and are much more enjoyable to fly around , cheers

I have to agree the Quark was one of the best flying FP helis I have ever owned!
This guy;

makes some incredible mods for a whole bunch of small helis. I think he is working on a 45'mod for some of the small walkeras.
