Pitch is good but it just doesn't seem to flip/roll as fast as a Trex 600.

60% of the time, it works every time!

Align carbons! 440mm flybar, 10 degrees cyclic.

You may already know this but just to clarify.

Cyclic pitch dicates roll rate

Flybar paddles dicates responsiveness/pop of cyclic

If I remember correctly, you are running a huge amount of cyclic pitch. This excessive amount of pitch combined with binding can really hinder performance. I'm running Align paddles and slightly under 8 degrees of pitch on the stock flybar length and the cyclic roll rate and cyclic reponse is very fast, faster than my Rex 600 was all maxed out with 440mm blades. My red devils blades weigh about 130 grams or less.

10 degree cyclic Wicked.. Did you use the same cyclic pitch for your Vision?? BTW. What head speed do you have on your EP Trex and on your Nitro Vision 50??..

Try some Stubbs for a fast roll rate! The Vision is one of the fastest rolling heli's availible. The Trex definetly doesnt roll any faster.

Roll rate is certainly not just down to cyclic pitch!

Of course its down to cyclic pitch and head speed second. I meant 10 degrees cyclic on my Vision! I can get 11 on my Trex 600, ok my Trex 600E runs close to 2200 and about 2100 on my Vision.

Im getting used to it now though, just have to bang the sticks more. I may calm my 600 down abit so that they fly the same, nearly crashed my 600 after fly the Vision because it responded so much faster!

60% of the time, it works every time!

Your are indeed wicked

We're just using 8 degree cyclic pitch (9 at most) and between 2000 - 2050 rpm here.. Anything more. We'll all run for cover

Impossible I'm flying max C 8° and P 12.5° 2000rpm. Same flybar and Align 12gr paddle, 620mm SAB Blade... and it's incredibly faster than my trex 600 nitro.
I think with your setting it is impossible to control because of fastness... the trex more fast than vision...impossible!!!!

Are you sure you are flying the vision or are you still flying the trex?

Bye

Cyclic power is dictated by the power of your engine. 8deg cyclic is as much as you will ever need.

Paddle authority is the opposite of what you are looking for. The more efficient the flybar the slower the roll rate! The less efficient it is the roll rate will be faster, and alot less stable.

The best heli's have both, a fast roll rate as well as being stable. The Trex struggles to do both!

A WELL set up Vision will preform very well!

Do an experiment: Time the roll rate with some light paddles. ie, count how may rolls you can do in 30seconds, then try the same with some black tt paddles.
