hmmm. I feel bad. I have had my SDX since around 10th of May, and I have not even flown it yet

I have had so much work lately it is killing me (I guess I should feel lucky about that). I work 12hr days now + building a 26 x 12 feet deck at home.

I can't wait to try it out...

Hi there Henrik is that why you have so few crashes under your belt apart from doing the deck if you are only working 12 hour days that would leave 12 for flying plenty of time to get some in I hope you get her in the air soon

Got mine a couple weeks ago. Ready to drop the electronics and engine in (which arrive in a few days) and she'll be on her way to getting airborne very soon. So far, the build went well and looking forward to running her through the paces.

Blackbird... of course we'll help ya!! Hirobo has some of the best guys in the hobby, so we'll definitely be there for ya during any of your setup questions. Good luck on your build!

Wow! You guys build quick!! It takes me forever to get a heli built. Heck, it took me over a week just to get the wires on my Vibe organized and looking "clean" the way I wanted. Oh, the downfalls of perfectionism. *sigh*

Well, glad you guys are up and flying. I'm still working on my SDX. Should be up by the end of July, hopefully.

tis sdx flys wicked best ive flown so far ,, got trex 700 and sceadu evo , this thing rocks , gunner sell me others and just get load of spares for this one ,
only sloght prob ive had with it ,,, is the fly bar keeps coming loose
the 2 grub screws in the middle , so fly bar moves , after each flight i check all screws and so far there the onlys ones that do come loose are the inner fly bar grub screws , this time ive well tightend em with loads of lock tight ,,, U WILL STAY TIGHT LOL

I clean all screws and holes with rubbing alcohol before I loctite screws. This properly secures all screws.

Has the style of the grub screws changed? On the Sceadu the screws cut into the flybar and never come undone.

I'm thinking of doing the same... selling off my 600 and adding a D3 to the fleet. I just might have to do it. Hmmmmmm..

I wish!
I bought some raffle tickets to try to win one at last weekends funfly, Im just not that lucky. I was supprised though, out of 5 kits, the SDX was the last chosen of the bunch I believe that the SDX was the only nitro of the bunch, there was a Logo? cant remember the other helis though. Mid American FunFly, In Detriot. It looked like an Align convention, what a bummer! Would love to see more Hirobo's out there, Always been a fan of them!
