I just ordered up some RT paddles for my Outrage 550 and was wondering if anyone had tried them yet and if they are any good?

I have them on my 50 and my 90 and love them - The only ones I have ever had that deliver both great cyclic and solid tracking in FFF or FBF.

Hi.

Please can anyone tell me where I can get a set of RotorTech 3mm flybar paddles with weights part number CN262363 ??

These are almost impossible to find here in the U.K.

Thanks

I do not know if Heli-World ships to the UK, but there are a number of sources in Canada that ship to the UK.

I tried them out on my Outrage 550 and I am not quite sure if I like them. The hole is so deep on them, that even with the 340mm flybar on the Outrage, the paddles seem way to far in. They fly ok, but not much better than the stock paddles, if at all.

Wow, the Outrage 550 only has a 340mm long flybar???

That is certainly very short for any heli that uses 520mm blades or longer.

If it is a 3mm one, I would seriously consider replaceing it with one from a Swift 16 or any other 550 sized heli (nitro or electric) that use longer ones.

The one on my Swifts are 380mm long!!!

I am sure the RT's where designed for use on longer flybars.

That is what I was thinking. You can get either the 300mm or 340mm flybars, pretty short. I actually think I might have a swift flybar, if so, I will try it.
