I have a T-Rex 600 Nitro Pro that I have been flying. I am using a 2 cell 1900 mAh lipo pack for my receiver pack. I am using 8717 on all cyclics and throttle and a 770/8900 for the tail. I am not sure how old the battery is but I only get about 4-5 flights on it before it needs recharged. What are you guys using as receiver packs? thanks.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

I cut a puffed 2100 tp extreme down to a 2s 1400, and use it with my vbar 600n!

..but, I test everything definitively with a cba analyzer, so those cells are fine.

fyi , I take 300-350 per flight with 8717s on the analogue vbar, so I plan accordingly......

Thats about right for those packs. I use the Outrage 3600Mah packs. Last about 7 or 8 flights and has leads for most regulators already built in. http://www.helidirect.com/outrage-x...-bat-p-7737.hdx

Waiting for parts

I am just looking for one that has the little red JST connector on it. I don't need one with a receiver plug on it. Thanks.

My favorite is a li-ion 2600mah. Fits / balances perfectly and not as fragile as lipos.

Easy to get to. I get 6 or 7 flights before swapping packs.

I use 2200 2S lipo packs. It really is a balance between number of flights and size/weight of the pack. It's up to you, how often you want to change them out and/or charge.

I am running a Fromeco 5200 Li-on. Its big but fits in the side of the nose nicely. I have not flow it a bunch but after about 4 tanks of fuel, I only put 2500mah back into it.

I have some Kong Power 2s 2000 mah in mine. I cut off that JST plug and use micro deans on them.
