in normal mode (1850 head speed) around 8 1/2 minutes
in stunt mode 1 (1950 head speed) around 7 minutes
in stunt mode 2 (2050 head speed) around 6 minutes

I get about 10 min in normal mode.
HOW???

I am running a pretty low headspeed and that is all i fly. I only fly sport/scale type flying and run my headspeed around 1750, but only get right at 7 minutes with 600MAH to spare to keep from over-discharging. So how are you getting 10 minutes in Normal? What heaspeed are you running exactly, and what pinion are you using and more???

Thanks,
Clint

Ive seen other guys get 8-9 minutes easy doing loops, rolls and fff with my own eyes useing the 10t pinions, I think part of the trick is they run a t/curve something like 100 inh 85 inh 100, and flick between different flight modes, so they only click into there 100% just before an axial roll for instance, then click back to a lower T/curve for normal flying. That being said Im pretty sure those same guys are useing straight T/curves these days and just putting up with 5 - 7 minutes.
Another thing they do diferent to me is set there helis to hover mid stick as a post to zero in the middle, maybe this also helps, they seem to get 7 min`s compared to my 4.30 - 5.00 max.

(edit) Come to think about it, ive also seen them run in LVC several times flying those long times.

This may be just a little off topic, but I have changed from my stock setup to a Castle and Scorpion,. So I am kind of having to relearn what times and throttle I need to get the HS and flight time I want, running my CC85HV in gov mode and setting a HS of 1900 I was able to get 6 minuets of flight time out of an older pack that is doing just hover and circuits, and working on stationary piros, I only put back 3500 mAH and the pack was around 119* on a 70* day? So to say with a fresh pack and a similar day, doing the same type of flying, I would guess I could get 8 minuets, that would not be unreasonable? This upgrade has been the best 350 bucks I've spent in this hobby, so far this year! I am flying a pack I thought was pretty much useless, and the two packs I have for 3D are cooler and I am loving the smooth power the machine now has!
