After a long and cold winter, the weather in NE Pennsylvania was in the 50's today. And sunny. The only problem was that the wind was at a steady 15mph out of the west. Gusts were over 20. And it was a dead cross wind. So I took at my Bat 50 Pro and flew. Let me just say that the Bat took it like a champ!

The Bat 50 might not be a 3D monster but it can sure handle a variety of weather better than my Raptors can. The Bat flew like it was on rails. Normally I would not fly a heli with a wind of over 15mph. It's to much work. But the Bat just kept tracking staight. Didn't get blown around one bit.

Thanks Irwin, a great day with a great heli!

I started to get a canopy like that when i reordered my canopy but i went white instead. I want to get my canopy wraped in decals, but i'm going to get a go many flights on it before i do that. My luck has been so bad i'm not going to make anything look good until i have a lot of flights on it to make sure its going to hold up.

Thanks for the pics your heli looks great

Thanks guys. I thought it was a good looking bird also! It is a Bat 50 Pro, not a budget Bat. It flies great. Really smooth. And the airbrushed canopy give it a real "presence" in the air. It makes it really visible, especially when there are clouds which make most planes and helis hard to see (lack of contrast).
