Why are all the electric helis in the RF4.5 so twitchy and unstable, always drifting away and hard to hover in one spot, while the Spritzer 4 Stroke heli is so much stable and more controllable. I have never flown an actual rc heli before so I would like to know if the flying behavior in the electric helis in the RF4.5 are accurate as the real electric helis?

Also do Gassers (gasoline) have the same flight behavior as 4 strokers? Anyone know where I can download a free Gasser model for the RF4.5?

this is do to a glitch in the program, or you may not have enough memory. try shutting down some of the things in your startup group, it may help. Aslo anti virus programs are notorious for situations like this. I have 3.5 and it took a while to get it right, now it works great.

This has nothing to do with a glitch in the program.

It all depends on the set up of a helicopter and which electrics helicopters you are talking about.

If it's a small electric helicopter, then yes they are not near as stable as anything larger. The smaller they are the more the environment effects them.

All of the trainer helicopters are set up with milder settings. Making them easier to learn on. That's way they are trainers.

Accuracy is a matter of opinion. The beauty of the sim is you can change every aspect of it making it as accurate as you wish.

Stick with the trainers and you will do fine. The sim will teach you orientation. Something that you need to learn without costing you a ton of money.

You will have to go into the heli setup and turn down the head speed. The little helis are twitchy hand fulls in real life. I have the furion and the G4.5 model was grossly off, after turning down the blade speed it was much better.

How do you change the pitch curve to get the lower blade speed?
