I have used both the Solid G and the Spartan and both have worked great. If you are used to setting up CSM gyros, then I am sure that will too

Replaced a GY401 that just wouldn't stop drifting. The 720 holds rock solid but is sensitive to the engine being tuned well. Very easy to setup and ran fine straight out of the box. Mine is fitted up front and not on the rear mount to keep it out of the way of any fuel residue.

thanks guys, i am thinking about trying something different, ive been reading up about the 720, and seen a bit about 'vibe' issues, this is my first nitro and i am on a slight budget so dont wanna have to change after a week or so,

i have a jr8700g on the tail, will this servo be ok with the spartan if i got that instead??

Did you get into the set-up mode before plugging the servo in. If not it wont work.
