Is there better landing gear for a predator gasser than the stock century gear? The problem i have had is that the landing gear breaks at the pre drilled holes. I have to drill my holes closer together for the gasser but have broke 2 sets of gears on landings that have not been that hard. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks

The only problem I have ever had with my Predator is that the standard size bolts are way too small a diamter. I drilled and tapped the holes in the alloy frames to accept the next size up...I used S Steel bolts.

I got rid of the spacers too, couldnt find bolts long enough to reach...and didnt fancy boring the spacers out to suit.

Dont do the bolts up too tight, this can put tension of the struts.

My struts have been ok so far and I have had one or two quite heavy landings.

Quality takes........time!

I bought mine used and itcame with the cheaper orange gear that i think is pre drilled for a nitro 90. Anyway i just ordered the carbon fiber landing gear. hopefully it will hold up better than the orange ones. Thanks again
