Hi to all Sylphide flyers. This model has been around a while and I wanted to tap that pool of information on the setup of the Sylphide. Very interested particulary in rotor head setup ie. mixer arm position, paddles, flybar, fav blades.
Any info would be a great help and I should mention this is for F3C setup obviously (thats what is was designed for)

No rain on flying days:)

Just to get the topic started I have been fiddling round with the dampers (white ones) and have noted the difference from one side to the other (one side feels loose compared to other). I have measured the retainer distance accurately and wonder if they stabilise in flight.

No rain on flying days:)

Mine started with the white damper since build. As for the head set up, mine is pretty standard. I once used K&S spindle, pitch arm, but now changed it back to standard.

As for the paddle, presently I use Hirobo plastic paddles on one, Funtech paddles on the other.

Other than this, I just keep my engines in tip top condition for the Sylphides.

Cheers,
