If you're not going to tell us what you're running now as far as gain, expo, and rudder end points, we can't be much help.

You dont even mention what helicopter its installed on.

Hello I sent you a pm explaining everything.... I have a Sceadu EVO 50\ futaba 7c radio my gain is 45 in normal and idleup1 my endpoint was 67L and 69R my dualrate was off and exp is 50% I really don't understand this stuff that much I am self taught and have no one for 200 miles to help me, i read on here from a guy to set the gain at 25 and the endpoint to 140% both ways have set the dualrate to 80% in both modes and am waiting for this snowstorm to pass to see if it is any better, the tail wags like crazy in idleup and it drifts when trying to fly forward, also it drifts the nose slightly to the left have tried recentering the servo on boom no better these new settings may help me and if you could confirm if i am getting closer before i go out and crash it would be awesome, the pm was sent to you 3 days ago and i am new to this site and trying to figure it out as well thankyou for understanding me "hopefully" Jim

No worries.

Tail wag is usually too much gain.

The gyro screen in the 7c make sure it says

MODE=GY
RATE UP A35

That will give you about 35 percent gain in heading hold mode, make sure whatever switch you have assigned to the gyro is UP

You can either set your end points or a dual rate for your overall piro rate, its up to you, they both do the same thing, and I can tell you with that gyro, 80 is pretty high.

ok so you think my new setting should work then? I do have the H\H in the up position, and I have the dual rate set for both normal and idleup my pirate was way to slow before so i'll try it at 80% then turn it down as needed.

hello I tried what you said about the 50% dualrate and 50% expo that worked now I just have a little drift I think I have to set the gyro in non heading hold now,do you do this in the air/. as in shut off the gyro and see where its at or try to take off using rudder to staedy it???I am not sure on this my tail holds well in a hover and really well stopping etc, which increases the sensitivy the dualrate and by putting the number higher it responds faster? also which is it to hold the tail harder?
The settings you gave me worked very well I just want to fine tune it as in slightly more holding power, and remove the drifting nose goes to the right in forward flight when I turn the idle up off and fly around in normal mode...thankyou so far I am really happy with your help.

Increase the gain a little bit.

If you're getting drift, turn the gain all the way up to 100 in heading hold and see if the servo drifts, if it does, correct it with sub trim.

BECARFUL, I had the same Combooooo with my Vibe50, BARACODA MAAAAAAAN told me the same but with out any reasult.

Yes, Futaba radis deal with a 1.0 real gain but this radio 7C isn't like the others, becareful brother.

You should firstly begain with some numbers that above 50 A for HH.

Until now I am rebuliding my amazing and the best heli (Vibe50) beacuse I did what those bad guys that told me to do.

THEY DO NOT HAVE THIS RADIO EITHER, SAMAKA
