Well, yes and no, its a CCPM swash. You need to modify your swash with a 5th inner ball, I had a machinist do it, so you can use your Raptor swashplate.

Thats correct about the swashplate. You could either have your existing one machined or you can buy a new 5-blade swash. I actually used a Vario 5-Blade Swashplate when I used it. As far as the size of the blade root, it is for 12mm blades.

Its the V2. As far as the swash and driver goes, I am using them in another ship.

Vs Century

Hi Ironside,
A while ago I bought a Century 5-blade head from you, how would you say they compare , quality, flying characteristics, size, etc?
Thanks, Vince

In my option, the V2 is very well made. If you were to look at the difference between it and the V1 its like night and day. They seem to have taken their time with this one. A lot of folks had issues with the V1 head but I haven't heard too many complaints on the 2nd Generation of the head. I personally love the way it looks on the 50 size birds. It's more scale in appearance (especially on the MD530 which is what I had it on). As far as flying characteristics goes, I'm sure you've found out from dealing with the Century head, it's all in the setup. A lot of people seem to be so scared of scale heads but if you ask me (and probably a few others) they are great once you get use to their flying characteristics.

Army67romeo,

I know for sure the driver is the second iteration and a good design too. The swash I'm not so sure about. I don't have a 120° setup since I fly Raptors which are 90° so I don't use their swashes. I purchased a Vario swash.
