I'm in the process of setting up a spartan gyro on my vibe 50 and it all went fine except when setting left and right limit. I can set the left limit normally but when i do the same with the right limit, the tail pitch slider stops about 2 mm before the hub and it seems like it is at full right travel sice it won't go any further. Should i adjust the long tail control rod to move the slider more towards the hub or is it something else that i'm not seeing?

And one more thing. Sometimes when i power up my ar9000 and its two sattelites, the orange leds are blinking slowly instead of being lit solid. What exactly does that mean?

Thanks

The blinking LED's indicate a low voltage condition occurred to the receiver. It usually happens because of cutting your receiver off and back on without doing the same to the transmitter - it thinks it lost power during a flight. If you turn off the TX and the RX this won't happen, it only happens when you turn only the RX off.

It sounds like you need to move the ball further out on the servo horn. The spartan 760 likes a long servo horn.

Thanks both of you. I moved the ball further out and it is now on 16,5mm from the servo shaft and it solved the problem. But this seems a lot for a gyro servo horn. Is the resolution still good enough? I guess i'm just used to my 450 and a 401 with the ball on the closest hole.

Do the blinking leds on the reciever have also somthing to do with that fast connect feature? I noticed that it connects to the Tx much faster if i don't turn the Tx off when i turn off the Rx.

16.5mm is just fine. i'm using that distance myself. Maybe you should invest in the USB cable. It makes adjusting travel much more scientific as you can see the values and adjust the rods so you have equal travels or at least within the 85%-115% rule.

Resolution is great at that length. This gyro likes a long horn unlike futaba gyros.
