I purchased a JR DS890G for the throttle on my Vibe 50. I am running a CYB ATGv3 and have heard that its best to try not mess with end points as this could upset the governor. My DS890G will not reach the full open and closed position of the throttle even when i adjust end points to their maximum. I have tried bigger servo arms and it did work to get the throttle to its end points but the i can see that the arms of the servo and throttle aren't parallel though the range of the servo. Any help would be great.

Thanks

It doesnt make sense that a longer horn wont get you enough travel. You can also move the ball closer to the center of the carb for the same result.

Set the carb to its center. Set the throttle to center stick. Figure the length of the control rod from there.

I have also tried to move the ball on the throttle down, which worked a little to lenghten the travel but the i still didnt get full deflection.

I do make sure that before i check the travel, that my throttle is at 50, my curve is linear and that i have set the carb to the middle position.

Am i right in saying that the arms of both the throttle and servo need to be the same length?

Is it a problem if the arms on both the throttle and servo aren't always parallel(except for middle position)?

Thanks for the help guys!

The arms don't need to be the same length (and many times are not). What you need to accomplish is that at center travel, both arms are parallel to each other and the linkage between the two arms is sitting at exactly 90 degrees to both arms. This will assure you a simetrical travel to both sides.
