I'm wanting to experiment with an out runner motor. My issue is, the motor shaft needs to slid through the other side of the motor. The cap comes off the motor, allowing me to see the whole shaft, and it does have flat sections on the shaft, allowing different positions, and hieghts.

My issue is, I cannot free this shaft. This is motor is practically new. So it should slide really easy, but is won't. Any ideas?

Im pretty sure this is the motor, from what I remember. http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/D...ProdID=EFLM1400

There's a snap ring on one end and a set screw on the other.

Loosen set screw on shsft collar, remove the collar. Remove blk. washer, loosen 2nd set screw. Slide shaft out, may have to tape it out.

Yeah, there was a small washer, but no snap ring, c-clip, or any other. There are 2 set screws, but I took them out of both sides.

Somthing is holding this shft back, as I have broke out the 22 ounce eastwing, and beat it. Well not really, but I did tapp it a good bit, and nothing.

I have also tried a bit of heat, and still nothing.

I guess I was going to try it it Talegunner,,,,,,,,just to see.. No, Im joking. My buddy has a smaller style plank, Kyosho course air, and he is wanting to give the plane thing a try again,,,thats all..
