Both will work, but spartan ds760 would be best.

Yep the 401 will be fine unless you do alot of reverse high speed flight. I run 401's on all my machines and flip, roll, tail slides, and piros without any issues. Unless you do hard core 3d you should be all set. Hey,... enjoy Spain you lucky dog. I've been there it's awesome. Good luck!!

In Spain is very good. The climate is very good. I would like to know what people think of Spain (they think about people, not on the scene)

Nobody comments anything about Align GP750. I think that for the price of JR 770 i have a Spartan.

Spartan all the way just spend the extra money and have less of a headache when you set it up

I run the 770/3500 on my 500 and love it. My father has a 401 on his 500 but I don't think it holds nearly as nice as the 770

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

+1 for the Spartan. Its very light, small and extremely forgiving with dips in head speed (and hence tail rotor speed).

I have the 601 9256 on mine. ROCK Solid, but a lil tail heavy. You can offset it with battery placement though.

I've tried three, the GY401/S9650... later upgraded to a S9257
DS760/DS3500G... tried a S9257 first
GP750/S9257

I have owned and done 3D with all three setups on two different 500s, and I've mixed the servos around a little, I don't think I really out flew any... If you set the gyros up correct, and most importantly you get you mechanical setup correct, they will all work! Right now I have the GP750/S9257 combo working great on my primary 500, the setup really has impressed me, did some pretty hard 3D in the 25 MPH gusty wind on Sunday, and the tail never gave any sign it was loose or going to blow out?

If you told me you were going to give me a Gyro servo combo, which one do I want? I would take the DS760/DS3500G comb. I already have the link, and I like plugging in to my laptop and being able to fine tune so many parameters?

On my Trex 600CF I upgraded directly from a GY401 to the DS760 I left the S9254 on, I really noticed a drastic differents there, I was starting to try piro flips and the rotation rate is really noticeable on that bigger machine.
