The field looks like I can make it. The snow melt is awsome. No I will not have to call AAA to tow me out this year. Heading to the field in the am before the snow showers and rain mix.
How about you?

I've started gallon #3. This year's daily flyer is a Raptor 90 3D.

Thanks cstoneman. The Pantera is taking a break this year. It might do some night flying later this Spring.

I've finally forced myself away from my great flying Pantera 50 and I started mounting my Eagle Tree v3 in my BBC Pantera to get the throttle curves fine tuned. Hopefully I can escape the kid and the house chores at some point this weekend and log some flights!

Said Good-bye to winter flying season last Tuesday with a 3 hour visit to the field. 3 Pantera flights, a 15 minute nap on the runway in the sun (71F) and 4 flights on the 30% gasser YAK.

Welcomed in Spring yesterday with a trip to the LHS...10 cases of CY-30% in my garage now!

BTW...no "special pricing"...got the fuel for $24/gallon at case volume ($96/case).

Rebuilding my lighted landing gear (didn't apply any mechanical strain-relief to the 1/4-watt resistors...vibrations broke the lead right off the resistor) with the thought in mind to get some night-flying in tonight.

lotta ins, lotta outs

cooked a gallon of fuel today. Some rain but not much.
23.99 a gallon for 15% here. Grabbed another gallon for Sunday.
The BBC do gobble the fuel, but it's worth it. Sunday will be break in day for the rebuild Hyper that blew a piston this last winter.
