I'm seeing a lot of broken image links lately with the RR fast photos.
(Red X's, or however they show up in your browser)

Seems some people can see them, some can't

Yep, me too. I thought maybe it was my browser, I'm running Mozilla. I thought maybe it was a missing plug-in.

I'm on Mozilla 3.

apparently it doesn't matter what browser I'm on. I just tried with Chrome & Explorer, doesn't help.

I tried right-clicking and "view image", also tried viewing image in a new window.

With right click properties what are the broken photo address's?

You might have a cache issue.

Here's one, for example.

The guy who posted the picture says it appears fine, but no one else can see it

loc: http://runryder.com/fastphoto/1023/helistand-.jpg

It must be the 10th broken image I've seen this week.

I have noticed it frequently when using 64 bit internet explorer. If I switch back to 32 bit browser it works ok. The above posts dont work either way.

Mark, if I understand correctly is it allways displayed this way if a picture is deleted by the original post?

I am not sure I understand. The photos were deleted off the server by the member. Your browser will display broken photo links in varying ways.

Sometimes while using internet explorer 64 bit I will get images like the ones above with a small red X. If I switch to 32 bit browser it corrects it 90% of the time and I can then see the image that I could not see in 64 bit IE.

As mentioned above sometimes nothing will correct the "red x".
I now understand this normal if the OP removed the photo.

There are some issues with 64 bit IE browser compatibility none the less.

I've looked at pictures in galleries and in posts that no longer open up. Click on them and nothing happens. I know these are not deleted photos and have opened up in the past. For instance try the photos in Rbush gallery. He just posted a number of pictures of a canopy in a new post, they are also in his gallery, yet you click on them and they don't open up to the larger photo. This has been going on for a while.
