On the MRCHA link, Which of those, if any, might you consider an "RC Superstore"?
How many might you consider your typical, average small town, Local Hobby Shop?

Or another way to put it, any hobby shops in Minnesota worth driving 150 miles from out of state to visit?

be sure to ride the sponge bob coaster

in the mall.. short but cool ride.
looping and rolling coaster that is pretty smooth and slow...kind of feels like flying an airplane a bit.

I would get in touch with some of the MRCHA forum regulars to get that info. I am about 3 1/2 hours from the cities and don't get there very often anyway... Hobby Warehouse used to have good stock but it has since moved/changed/possibly closed.

That's not too encouraging.

Oh well, it was worth a shot.

Ok,
Hobby Warehouse is open again and his son opened up Sky Hobbies. All I'm going to say is there were some issues and now they each have their own store and in my opinion neither of them focus on heli's, its mostly airplanes. They do have some stuff but I don't bother with them anymore.

Hub Hobby, not worth bothering with, very little heli inventory.

Hobby Town/s don't bother unless you need a new puzzle.

RC Car Kings, awesome if your into rc cars

King Kong Hobbies, Awesome heli support, pretty much Align stuff and all the support items. Doug Lewis, (the owner) and his son Eric are both in Vegas right now at the Align competition. You can check them out on RR on the Vegas coverage thread.

Third Dimension is the newest RC Heli club in the Twin Cities, the club is growing really fast and they just started a new field located in Nowthen/Elk River. I think theirs something like 75 members already.
