Is anyone flying with Helicommand and using a123 batteries for their RX pack?
Just wondered if the voltage might be too high for this.
Any info welcome thanks.

Reg,

The Helicommand instructions have the specs on the last page. It says that the operating voltages should be between 4.8 - 6 volts. I use a 5.8v regulator with a 2s lipo pack myself and this works great. Since your 123 pack is probably above 6 volts I think you will need a regulator to bring it down to at least 6 volts.

Cheers,
TomC

Thanks Tomc,
I was wondering that as the a123 2s pack has about the same voltage as a NMH when charged if there is any need for a regulator?.
