I have just bought a new 10 tooth pinion and it is bent or the threads are machined off.
Has any one seen this before

Are you sure you don't have a E-Raptor 10T pinion?

The nitro pinion is threaded at one end. The E-pinion has two threaded holes for set screws.

It is definately the right pinion because I have 4 raptors.
It is bent or the threads are not concentric to the pinion because when I thread it into the bell it wobbles and I have 3 other 9 tooth ones that are fine. All I was doing was making a gear change to 8.5.
I was just wondering if any one else has seen this.

It's possible that it's machined wrong but sounds like it's cross threaded on the bell. Do you have another bell you you could try it on, carefully so as to not gum up the threads?

I have tried it and the other 3 on another bell and it is the same.
It threads right in with no problem. I just wanted others to be aware that things are not always perfect. I bought it new and opened the bag myself.
This is the first time I have had trouble with thunder tiger machining.
