A capacity of 2700mAh , seems quite low for it to be a Sub 'C' nimh pack .

At the end of the day , it gets dark .

The thread did go somewhere for me. Thanks for all the input. I had the new battery made and it ended up taking 3000 mA. So, yeah, my old one was shot. Probably the best advice I got was from our field's president, who put an e-mail out this spring that it was time to cycle all battery packs. Glad I did, as I did find a weak one. Now, all packs (radios, airplane, Raptor) have been cycled and should be ready to go. Plus, I learned quite a lot about batteries behavior. Ya' don't just fly & charge. Maintenance & testing must also take place.
