An e-Bay friend of mine is in the process of making a 10mm extended carbon fiber outer shaft combo with a titanium extended inner shaft for the Blade CX2/CX3. I plan on buying one for myself and just thought you guys might like to know, I can't imagine not bending my inner and outer shafts again! I'll post more when I know more, Systemlord.

Update:

kelhat1 (his e-Bay name) is testing the durability of both inner/outer shafts and it looks better than good, kelhat1 has already sold a few stock length titanium inner shafts with excellent results from the buyer that couldn't believe that it didn't bend when he crashed. kelhat1 is sending me a prototype for testing and I will do my very best to try and break or bend both shafts to see how strong they really are. I should receive them over the weekend and can't wait to get them installed, too bad I have to beat them up!

Sounds like a good idea, but carbon fiber does break in you hit it wrong. Titanium can also bend and can even snap if dropped upside down. Let us know how yours goes. It will be interesting to hear about them.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

I got it installed Friday night and so far I have been unable to bend or break either shafts, I have held my CX2 in my hand and at 75% throttle stuck a thick stick into the rotor blades with only breaking my plastic rotor heads. kelhat1 (my friends e-Bay name) put flat spots on the outer shaft for the lower rotor heads set screws, I think thats better than drilling into the shaft because that would weaking it dramatically.

This inner outer shaft combo works very well together, you know how many inner outer shafts I have bent since day one!? When you hold the stock stainless steel outer shaft in one hand and the carbon fiber outer shaft in the other the weight difference is dramatic, its like the difference between holding a feather and a small lead weight!
